Aims and Scope

The primary aim of South-east European forestry (SEEFOR) is to publish original, novel, and high-quality scientific articles that contribute to the advancement of research, professional practice, and knowledge development in the field of forestry.

In addition to its scientific role, SEEFOR also fulfils educational and informative objectives. The journal aims to stimulate professional and academic engagement, support teaching and learning processes, and promote institutional cooperation and interdisciplinary collaboration. SEEFOR encourages the development and recognition of early-career researchers and fosters stronger connections between science, forestry practice, and society, contributing to the broader dissemination of forestry-related knowledge and perspectives.

The scope of the journal encompasses ecological, economic, technical, technological, and social aspects of forestry and wood-related research. SEEFOR welcomes submissions from all geographical regions and study environments, including natural forests, plantations, and urban landscapes, provided that the applied methods and the obtained results are clearly relevant and of interest to South-east European and international forestry.
